i hate that all the world thinks that the spaniards are like that . that is a cliché made in the 60 by the dictatorial goverment of franco sold spain as a tourist place for summer, like the flamenco ,that is from the south of spain ,or the bulls that only exist in a few places spain is really diferen,t and is clearly divided in the north, south ,center and east of the territory the things that the world think about the spaniards are, is the cliche from the south
Not my design or characters (they belong to Scandinavia and the World), but that's not the point.
That stereotype isn't even that bad. So the most generalized Spaniard has a moustache, looks like a Bull-fighter, and loves music or whatnot. So what? It still beats the America stereotype where everyone is a fat, stupid, warmongering, religious nutcase, country bumpkin who is inbred and thinks 'Merica is the only nation in the world. Trust me, we'd trade stereotypes with Spain any day of the week.
I've lived in Portugal, Germany, and the Philippines. I've seen it all. The SATW comic does a pretty good job in using the generalizations of the world for some of the designs, but not in a stereotypical way. It's all harmless fun and surprisingly non-insulting.
Yeah, I alternated between Humon's usual no-legs style and the rare legged versions. Probably should have stuck to one. Although if I gave America legs, I'm pretty sure things would be leaving the PG zone quickly. LOL
